The Lotta Museum’s permanent exhibition The Story of the Lotta – Always Demand the Most from Yourself was opened to the public in 2012. The presidential spouse Jenni Haukio is the official patron of the exhibition was present at its opening.
The exhibition was designed with reference to the experiences of Lottas, with use of the museum’s own collections. One of the most popular parts of the exhibition has proven to be the “Call a Lotta” phones from which visitors can listen to the tales of Lottas from their front-line service and their leisure time. The exhibition also takes children into account, with touch-screen games. Young visitors and adults can test their knowledge with a Lotta-themed quiz on the lower level of the museum.
The space for temporary exhibitions is on the lower level, where the current exhibition is named What Was Left Behind – The Disbanded Lotta Organization.
